Sorry this is a little late going out. I have been working on the rules and prizes for our upcoming contest, and hoped to have it ready to go by the time this issue went out. Looks like I didn't make it, because of trying to insure I had all of the prizes in hand before I announced what they would be.

Next week fer sure!

Aesop Fables? Seems he had a lesser-known brother that told fables that were... Different. "The Knife-Sharpener and the Shrew" is a strange one.

One star.

(Now this one is a true winner and my hands-down favorite for this issue! - Editor)

Ever read kids stories to the kids. Do they have one or two that they want you to read over and over, until you are bored silly? Here's some that will have you laughing your *ss off!

Some of the titles:

"Curious George And The High-Tension Power Line", "Horton Hires A Whore", and my favorite, "James and the Giant Roll of Barbed Wire"!

Four stars for sure! Superbly illustrated to boot!

Oh, yeah. Check out the rest of this site. Look for the section called How To Serve Ewok. This is good!

Everything you ever wanted to know about "The Adventures of Rocky And Bullwinkle." I loved that show as a kid, and now my kids watch it too. Betcha didn't know the same person did the voices of both Rocky and Natasha! Or that Bullwinkle Moose, Mr. Peabody, and Dudley Do-Right were all played by the same person!

Three stars.

Unsolicited plug:

"Some see the cup as half full, others see it as half empty. My wife just sees it as one more thing she has to wash."

"The Marble Guy's MARBLE MUSEUM"

Yep, it had to be. Someone done went and did a site about marbles. Lots of marbles. Heck, there's a web-ring for other sites about marbles. They even gave some of the marbles names:

"See the Fat Lady, Tom Thumb, the Sword Swallower and others!"

(I think he might have lost a few along the way. Heh.)

One star.
